DONATE TO MAYANZA

Donations can be made securely with our partner, Global Giving.

We operate without overhead costs, and on an entirely volunteer basis. Everything we receive goes directly into our health and education programs and to the people of Santiago Atitlan.

Many children in Guatemala do not have the means to afford proper hygiene. This donation provides 4 children with a hygiene kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, and bar of soap) and fluoride varnish (dental hygiene) treatment.

Fluoride varnish treatments have been proven to reduce the severity of dental cavities and prevent new ones from forming.  This donation provides 19 children with these important preventive treatments.

Many families in Guatemala share a single toothbrush and some children have never had their own. This donation provides 57 children with new toothbrushes.

Many families in Guatemala live on less than $2 USD daily.  They often cannot afford soap, which can help to lessen the rate of bacterial and parasitic intestinal infections. This donation provides almost 500 bars of soap for the children of this community.
